How to Convince Clients to Use Webflow

My question to you: How do you convince customers to pay the “CMS” site plan on a monthly basis? Many people know Wordpress and Wordpress is standard, without wild plugins, for now, free of charge and you can sometimes get a web space for less than 10€. But I find that maintenance in Wordpress is more complex for the customer, especially since he could quickly break something. That seems much more intuitive to me in Webflow!
So... how do you convince customers to spend a few more euros and rely on Webflow?
So far, I only have smaller projects that absolutely value a low budget. 🙄 As soon as any offer goes towards 1000€, they won't get back to you. For initial references, I'll accept that for now. 😬
I'm looking forward to your feedback!
Possible ways to convince customers of Webflow
- Demonstrate Webflow to customers. Through the Webflow page or via your own video, which you can record. Here is an example.
- Show other website projects that are similar to his project and have already been implemented with Webflow.
- Explain the advantages over Wordpress → No more plugin chaos.
- Better load times, SEO, performance as a bonus.
- But most importantly: The ease for customers to edit their site in Webflow.
Is Webflow really too expensive for a business today?
- Webflow costs around 200€/year. Which business cannot afford to spend 200€/year?
- It is always about the benefits that your customer has with the website.
- What business doesn't have a website these days is a dead business. Presenting yourself digitally is essential for every business. When I started web design in 2012, it was completely different. People were still looking for telephone numbers in the yellow pages. Today, everyone goes online to find their information and anyone who doesn't play along has already lost to the competition tomorrow.
- Some customers simply benefit more from a website than others. For example, if the website is essential to their business and they primarily earn money through the website, they will also spend more money on it. For some, a website has fewer uses, yet an online presence is an integral part of today.
